| CentOS is derived version of Linux Red
Hat Enterprise freely provided. CentOS conforms fully
with the upstream vendors redistribution policy and
aims to be 100% binary compatible. It is possible to
obtain a basic installation of this operating system.
Note that no services are installed except for SSH and
that you will have to install all other aplications
on your own. |

| Debian is a free operating system (OS)
for your computer. An operating system is the set of
basic programs and utilities that make your computer
run. Debian uses the Linux kernel (the core of an operating
system), but most of the basic OS tools come from the
GNU project; hence the name GNU/Linux. |

| SSH (Secure SHell) is a protocol that aims to replace
aging remote connection tools such as telnet and even
FTP. In addition to allowing a user to connect and execute
commands on remote servers, it offers secure (encrypted)
communications between the client and server. |
