| FreeBSD is an advanced operating system
for multiple architectures. It is derived from BSD,
the version of UNIX® developed at the University
of California, Berkeley. It is developed and maintained
by a large team of individuals. |

| A server with FreeBSD can be managed via SSH. Certain
basic knowledge is required in order to properly configure
and manage a FreeBSD server via SSH only. If your lack
this knowledge, we recommend you use a FreeBSD server
with a control panel such as Plesk, cPanel, Ensim Basic
or Ensim Pro. |
| SSH (Secure SHell) is a protocol that aims to replace
aging remote connection tools such as telnet and even
FTP. In addition to allowing a user to connect and execute
commands on remote servers, it offers secure (encrypted)
communications between the client and server. |
